Terms of use
These terms apply to Online Clipboard – on the website, the Android app and the iOS app. By using it you agree to them.

2. What the service does
Online Clipboard moves text and files between devices. You create a board, share its link or code, and whoever has it sees the content and can add their own. There is no public search and no directory: a board is found only by someone who knows the link or the code.
Entries are deleted automatically after seven days, boards without content after 30 days. The service is not storage and not a backup. Keep anything you care about somewhere else.
Use is free at present. There is no claim to availability; the service may be changed or discontinued at any time.
3. Your account
You can use Online Clipboard without an account. If you register, you are responsible for your credentials. You can delete your account in the app at any time; your own boards and content go with it.
Whoever creates a board manages it: remove members, delete entries, delete the board. Whoever only joined a board can delete their own entries.
4. Content rules – zero tolerance
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. The following is prohibited:
- Depictions of child sexual abuse – we report such content to the authorities
- Pornography, depictions of violence and disturbing content
- Harassment, threats, defamation, hate speech and discrimination
- Content you hold no rights to
- Malware and attempts to attack the service or other people's boards
- Advertising and bulk messaging
You stay the owner of your content. You grant us only the right to store it and deliver it to the members of your board – exactly what it takes to run the service. We do not look at your content unless you report something.
5. Reporting, and what happens next
Every entry can be flagged in the app with Report. You can also reach us at any time at [email protected].
We review reported content within 24 hours. Where a violation is found we remove the content together with its files and permanently block the account responsible – without notice and with no claim to reinstatement. In less serious cases removing the content may be the end of it.
Independently of that, the creator of a board can delete entries and remove members at any time. Removed members cannot rejoin the board with the same link or code.
6. Liability
The service is provided as it is. We are not liable for slight negligence, except for personal injury. We are not liable for loss of data – entries are deleted as a matter of course, and the service is no substitute for a backup.
Users are themselves responsible for the content they post.
7. Changes
We may change these terms. The version in force is the one on this page; the date is noted below. Continuing to use the service means the new version applies.
8. Governing law
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence are unaffected. For businesses, the place of jurisdiction is the competent court in Linz.
